Maison Martin Margiela DIY's it again: S/S 2012 Haute Couture
A faux tortoise trench en plastique est magnific.
The macrame'd and freelance style twine/rope jackets, skirts etc. are twisted chic-----
And how about the en masse button suiting?
Glorious artisanal hommage to London's Pearly Kings and Queens in there ''skeleton'' and ''smother'' suits? Harks back as a beautiful take on this DIY heritage style.

Maison Martin Margiela Haute Couture, long may it create!

eCOmbellishment----DIY GIVENCHY

These photos are from an Ebay auction for a beautiful Givenchy sweater/top. It's too small and I can't afford it so I'll attempt a DIY. I've ordered the black wrap sweater top from HSN and black onyx beads from Ebay ----the beads will take a while to get here. I'll post the final product after I get the goods and embellish the
top for my diy look.
Check back.

Comme DIY Garcons! Spring 2010

Shoulders out ----How to do it? Grab some interesting old clothes that are too small or perhaps have other issues. Cut out the shoulder part and a section of the
sleeve. Position onto an existing jacket/top/skirt, etc. whilest it's on a dress
form and stich it up! Easier said than done mon ami.....! Enjoy the greatness
